As a college student, there were many things I wish I had bought that could've made my experience so much better. Lucky for you I’m here to ensure you don’t make the same mistakes as me! In this blog post, I’ll be sharing the top 5 products that would have made my college life easier.

Yup, you read that correctly. An air fryer is essential as a college student because it allows you to cook in the comfort of your dorm room! An air fryer is perfect if you get tired of the same food every day and are somewhat of a picky eater. As an international student attending university in the US, it’s hard to go back home for Thanksgiving and spring break. Often the dining halls will be closed during this time so having an air fryer is a huge help. With the FLEXBASKET Airfryer, you can Air Fry, Air Broil, Bake, Roast, Reheat, and Dehydrate.

Most of us forget about safety risks in the excitement of going to college. Even if you and your roommate are best friends, it's always good to be cautious especially if you're someone who has friends over. At my university, all rooms have a drawer with a lock slot. However, it's up to the students to provide their locks. Throughout my school year, I had valuable items such as my SSN, passport, and other essential items. Thankfully they weren't stolen but it could have! I highly recommend all students have a lock to secure their valuables during the school year! Check out this 3-digit combination Master Lock!

Do not overestimate the size of the dorm desks, you will be disappointed. Those desks might look big but they WILL get crowded very fast. Especially during exam season when coffee, review sheets, textbooks, snacks, and other student needs are scattered everywhere. A power strip is needed to ensure your cords will not add to the cluttered desk! ORICO Power strip comes with 3 outlets and 3 USB ports (1 USB C). It’s also portable, perfect for going to the library or traveling.

When I first went to my university classes I was taken aback at the fact that people rarely used notebooks. Coming from a Caribbean high school we were barely allowed to bring electronics to school! In my science classes, so many people were able to draw and label diagrams which was so convenient and quick. Unfortunately, I only had a laptop so drawing wasn't an option and it's been difficult to keep up with fast-talking professors when you're typing. With an iPad, you can write with an apple pencil, and you're able to draw any diagram with cute notes and labels. For school, I highly recommend the 9th generation Apple iPad and 1st generation Apple pencil.

Who doesn't have headphones? You're probably asking. A lot of people. More specifically over-the-ear headphones. I wished I had headphones instead of AirPods because they kept falling out of my ears in the gym. If you love going to the gym like me, headphones are a MUST. It was always so embarrassing when I would do any jumping exercise and my AirPods slid across the floor 10 feet away from me (exaggeration but you get the point). If it snows in your state, these headphones are perfect for keeping your ears warm. On some snowy days, I couldn't even listen to music with my AirPods because I was afraid they would get water damage. Purchase the Beats Studio Pro headphones HERE.
